The Office of the National Chairman (ONC), under the leadership of the Senior Presidential Advisor and Chief Bazzukulu Coordinator hajjat HadijahNamyalo, has extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to the President, while expressing deep gratitude to Ugandans for their overwhelming support in the recently concluded presidential elections.
Speaking on behalf of the Bazzukulu, the message resounded with appreciation and confidence in the people of Uganda for once again entrusting the nation’s leadership to the National Resistance Movement (NRM). Across the country, citizens turned out in large numbers not only to reaffirm their faith in the President, fondly referred to as “Jjaja,” but also to elect NRM leaders at all levels—signaling continuity, stability, and trust in proven leadership.
The ONC and the Bazzukulu stood at the heart of this historic victory. At a time when uncertainty loomed and detractors attempted to sideline Jjaja from the ballot, the Bazzukulu rose with unwavering determination, mobilizing support from grassroots communities to national platforms. Their message was clear: Uganda’s progress must be protected, and its leadership must remain steady. Their call was answered—and today, that decision stands vindicated by a decisive national mandate.
All eyes now turn to 12th May 2026, when Uganda will witness a landmark presidential swearing-in ceremony at Kololo—an event expected to draw millions both physically and globally. It will not just mark the beginning of a new term, but the dawn of a renewed commitment to national transformation.
The 2026–2031 term represents a defining chapter in Uganda’s journey. With a sharp focus on accelerating the Fourth National Development Plan (NDP IV), expanding the impact of the Parish Development Model (PDM), and deepening socioeconomic transformation, the government is poised to move the country into a higher orbit of inclusive growth and opportunity.
Uganda’s steady GDP growth, rising foreign direct investment, and enduring peace stand as testament to visionary leadership and disciplined governance. These gains, achieved over years of resilience and strategic direction, now form the foundation upon which an even stronger future will be built.
As the nation prepares for this historic moment, the ONC calls upon all Ugandans—young and old, from every corner of the country—to gather at Kololo and be part of history. This is more than a ceremony; it is a celebration of unity, a reaffirmation of purpose, and a collective step toward a brighter future.
