Sironko Roars with Hope as Hon. Mafabi Asha Nabulo Takes Oath to Champion People’s Voices in Parliament

Excitement and celebration swept through Sironko District as Hon. Mafabi Asha Nabulo officially took oath as the Woman Member of Parliament, joining Uganda’s 12th Parliament for the 2026–2031 term at the Parliament of Uganda.

The swearing-in ceremony marked the beginning of a new legislative chapter, with Nabulo promising dedicated service, inclusive development, and a stronger voice for the people of Sironko at the national level.

Outside Parliament, supporters erupted into celebration with Kadodi dances, songs, and chants, describing her victory as a symbol of renewed hope, unity, and transformation for the district.

Speaking shortly after taking oath, Nabulo thanked the people of Sironko for entrusting her with leadership and pledged to work tirelessly to address the needs of women, youth, and vulnerable communities.

She further reaffirmed support for government programmes and the development agenda championed by H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, emphasizing wealth creation, service delivery, and socio-economic transformation.

Her entry into Parliament has ignited optimism among supporters, many of whom believe her leadership will bring stronger representation, empowerment, and progress to Sironko District.
