Mbale City — Preliminary results captured on Declaration of Results (DR) forms from polling stations in Bumutoto Ward, Mbale City Division, indicate that Incumbent Councillor Wandulu Zaidi has taken a commanding lead in the just-concluded elections.
According to the DR forms tallied so far, Wandulu Zaidi has garnered 1,519 votes, placing him ahead of his closest challengers. Massa Aramazan Mafabi of the FDC and Muwutsi Martin, running as an Independent candidate, trail behind with significantly lower vote counts, with Muwutsi Martin registering 135 votes from the available returns.
