Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Mbale District Coordinator Mr. Wokalo Allan traversed key areas of Mbale Town Council, Nabumali Town Council, Bumbobi Sub-county, Busano Sub-county, and Nyondo Sub-county, where he attended community barazas and engaged residents on the importance of participating in the democratic process.

The meetings attracted enthusiastic community members who reaffirmed their commitment to peaceful elections and active participation in local governance. Across the district, the message was clear: communities are ready to elect leaders who will champion development, unity, and the interests of women at the grassroots level.
According to Mr. Wokalo, the political atmosphere throughout the district remains stable, united, and unshakable, with mobilisation structures reporting overwhelming support and growing enthusiasm among voters. He expressed confidence that the district is on course to achieve its ambitious 90% support target, citing the strong response received during the community engagements.

He urged voters to turn out in large numbers and demonstrate the power of democracy through peaceful and responsible participation. He emphasized that Women Council leaders play a critical role in advancing community development, promoting inclusiveness, and ensuring that the voices of women are heard in decision-making processes.
