SIRONKO YOUTH PRAISES H.E MUSEVENI’S PDM FOR LIFTING HIM OUT OF POVERTY

Hope, hard work, and transformation are becoming the new reality in many parts of Uganda as beneficiaries of the Parish Development Model (PDM) continue to testify about the life-changing impact of the government initiative championed by Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

In Amle village, Sironko District, one determined youth is now inspiring many after successfully transforming his life with the UGX 1,000,000 he received through PDM.

Instead of spending the money on short-term pleasures, the young man invested it in brick laying and construction work — a decision that has now opened doors to financial stability and a better future.

Today, he earns bigger profits from his business, supports himself independently, and continues growing economically through hard work and determination.

The youth could not hide his gratitude as he thanked President Museveni for introducing programs that directly empower ordinary Ugandans, especially unemployed youth struggling to survive in rural communities.

“We thank President Museveni for giving us a platform through PDM. I invested my money in brick laying and now my life has changed. I can earn daily income and support myself,” he said proudly.

Community members say the young man’s journey is proof that when government support meets discipline and vision, poverty can be defeated at household level.

Local leaders have also praised the PDM initiative for creating opportunities that are restoring hope among the youth and encouraging self-employment instead of dependency.

As Uganda continues implementing wealth creation programs under President Museveni’s leadership, stories like the Amle youth’s success are becoming a strong message that the Parish Development Model is not just a policy, but a practical solution transforming lives from the grassroots.
