Sino-Uganda, Mbale Industrial Park Delivers Unmatched Eid Support to Muslim Fraternity: A Landmark Act of Generosity Winning Leaders’ Praise and Powering Mbale’s Development

Mbale City witnessed a powerful blend of generosity, leadership, and development as Sino Park rolled out a landmark Eid support initiative to the Muslim community, earning widespread praise from religious, political, and security leaders.

The items were officially received by a delegation led by Regional Assistant Mufti Sheik Ahmed Hamid Wandega on behalf of the Muslim community. The event was graced by prominent leaders including Lydia Wanyoto Mutende, Karim Masaba, Joyce Kidulu, Samuel Asiimwe, George Wopuwa and Yahaya Were.

The extensive donation—ranging from household appliances, electronics, clothing, and food items to essential welfare supplies—demonstrated Sino Park’s deep commitment to uplifting communities and improving livelihoods.

In his remarks, Sheik Wandega expressed heartfelt gratitude, applauding the Park for its consistent generosity and praying for its continued expansion. Hon. Karim Masaba reaffirmed government readiness to support the Park, pledging to address long-standing drainage challenges and follow up on securing an independent power line.

Hon. Lydia Wanyoto commended Sino Park for employing over 12,000 Ugandans, emphasizing the importance of sustained collaboration to enhance investment and resolve operational challenges. Security assurance was underscored by RPC Samuel Asiimwe, who praised the Park’s cooperation and pledged continued protection.

In a further show of solidarity, Sino Park distributed Eid packages to over 10,000 employees, enabling them to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with dignity and joy.

Sino Park Administrator Manager, Mr. Laurent, highlighted ongoing community initiatives including borehole drilling, school renovations, and classroom construction, while reaffirming plans to expand outreach programs for the broader benefit of surrounding communities.

This initiative stands as a strong testament to the power of public-private partnership in driving inclusive growth, strengthening community relations, and positioning Mbale as a hub of sustainable development.
