Asha Nabulo Joined ONC’s Hajjat Namyalo in Historic Interfaith Thanksgiving prayers for Maama Janet as Uganda Unites in Faith, Gratitude and Hope

The Office of the National Chairman (ONC) headquarters in Kyambogo was transformed into a sanctuary of faith, gratitude and national unity as Sironko District Woman MP Hon. Mafabi Asha Nabulo joined Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, the Head of ONC and Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, for a special interfaith thanksgiving prayer service dedicated to First Lady Maama Janet Kataaha Museveni.

The event drew together religious leaders, political leaders, Bazzukulu and well-wishers from across the country, all united by a common purpose—to thank God for Maama Janet’s good health, enduring strength and unwavering dedication to serving Uganda. The gathering reflected the values that the First Lady has championed throughout her life: faith, integrity, compassion, education and service to humanity.

Hon. Asha Nabulo paid tribute to Maama Janet as a mother of the nation whose humility, resilience and commitment to uplifting communities continue to inspire millions of Ugandans. She commended Hajjat Namyalo and the ONC fraternity for bringing together people from different faiths and backgrounds in a powerful display of unity, love and thanksgiving.

In her message, Hajjat Namyalo called upon Ugandans to embrace gratitude, remain prayerful and work together for the continued progress of the country. She emphasized that true national strength is built when citizens rise above their differences and unite around shared values of peace, faith and patriotism.

The prayers were led by renowned preacher Pastor Aloysius Bugingo, who delivered a powerful message on faith, respect and togetherness. He urged Ugandans to remain thankful to God and to use every opportunity to promote harmony within their families, communities, and the nation.
