Shock and grief have engulfed Kayunga District following the sudden death of Moses Karangwa Kalisa, the National Resistance Movement district chairperson, who lost his life in a fatal road accident at Ssuka Village.
Karangwa was widely respected as a committed mobiliser and outspoken supporter of the ruling National Resistance Movement, known for tirelessly championing party unity and grassroots development in the Buganda region.
The late leader previously contested for the NRM Vice Chairperson seat for Buganda region, a race later won by Haruna Kasolo Kyeyune, who was recently sworn in as Member of Parliament for Kyotera.
His passing leaves a major gap in Kayunga’s political leadership and serves as a painful reminder of how quickly life can change. Leaders and supporters across the region have continued to mourn a man remembered for loyalty, courage, and dedication to service.
