Chief Muzzukulu delivers again: Hajjat Namyalo’s grassroots mobilization powers NRM to Nationwide LC1 victory

The successful conclusion of the Local Council I (LC1) elections across Uganda has once again highlighted the strength of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) at the grassroots level, with political observers and party supporters attributing much of the success to the tireless mobilization efforts spearheaded by the Manager of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, popularly known as Chief Muzzukulu.

For months, Hajjat Namyalo and her nationwide network of ONC coordinators traversed districts, municipalities, cities, and villages, carrying the message of unity, patriotism, and support for the NRM under the leadership of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. Through continuous engagement with communities, youth groups, women, opinion leaders, and party structures, the ONC strengthened the connection between the people and the ruling party.

The LC1 election results have reflected the effectiveness of this grassroots strategy, with NRM candidates registering impressive victories in many parts of the country. The triumph has been widely viewed as a testament to the party’s strong foundation and the dedication of mobilizers who worked day and night to ensure voters turned up and supported NRM flag bearers.

Hajjat Namyalo’s leadership at the Office of the National Chairman has transformed the institution into a powerful mobilization engine that reaches ordinary Ugandans directly. Through empowerment programs, community outreach initiatives, youth engagement campaigns, and consistent political education, the ONC has become a bridge between government programs and the people.

As the nation reflects on the outcome of the LC1 elections, many supporters have praised Hajjat Namyalo for her unwavering commitment, strategic coordination, and ability to inspire grassroots participation. Her efforts, together with those of ONC coordinators across the country, have reinforced the NRM’s dominance and demonstrated the importance of organized grassroots mobilization in strengthening democracy.

With the LC1 elections now concluded, attention turns to the future as the NRM continues to build on its grassroots strength. Supporters remain confident that under the guidance of President Museveni and with dedicated mobilizers such as Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, the party will continue to champion stability, development, and prosperity for all Ugandans.
