Fresh from her election as the Manafwa District Women Council Chairperson, Annet Musibikha has set her sights on the national stage, officially declaring her candidature for the position of Publicity Secretary of the National Women’s Council.
In a passionate call to action, Musibikha is appealing to newly elected Women Council Chairpersons across Uganda to rally behind her vision and entrust her with the responsibility of representing them at the national level.
She says her candidature is inspired by a deep commitment to strengthening the voice of women, promoting unity among women leaders, and ensuring that the concerns, aspirations, and achievements of women from every district are effectively communicated and represented across the country.
Musibikha believes that women are a cornerstone of Uganda’s social and economic transformation and deserve a strong, vibrant platform through which their voices can be heard and their contributions recognized. She has pledged to serve with integrity, transparency, dedication, and inclusiveness while fostering stronger collaboration among Women Councils nationwide.
If elected, she promises to champion effective communication, strengthen coordination among women leaders, and support programs that uplift women, families, and communities. Her vision is to build a more connected and empowered women’s movement capable of influencing positive change and driving national development.
“I humbly ask all newly elected Women Council Chairpersons across Uganda to trust me with your mandate. Together, we can build a stronger, more united and more effective women’s movement for the good of our country,” Musibikha said.
Her bid comes at a time when women leaders across Uganda are seeking greater unity, visibility, and influence in decision-making processes. Through her message of service and collective leadership, Musibikha is presenting herself as a leader determined to bridge gaps, amplify women’s voices, and promote a shared vision for progress.
