With just five days left to polling day, Luwa Town Council came to a standstill as Hon. Khalayi Peace stormed the area in a powerful campaign drive that blended faith, hope, and heartfelt connection with her people. From parish to parish, residents turned out in large numbers to receive their daughter and offer prayers for her victory on January 15th.

Hon. Khalayi Peace was greeted with overwhelming excitement and confidence from the people of Luwa, who declared their faith in her leadership—contrasting her with predecessors who had neglected the area’s pressing needs. Through their coordinators, locals voiced long-standing challenges such as the lack of electricity, water scarcity during dry seasons, poor road networks, and inadequate health facilities, especially for expectant mothers.
